Free Shuttle to the Chattanooga Public Library

The Downtown Chattanooga Public Library is a hub for learning, creativity, and community. A special CARTA shuttle will pick up residents in front of the College Hill Courts main office, go to the library and return to College Hill Courts later that afternoon — for free!

📅 Date: Saturday, December 6th
📍 Pickup Location: 1300 Grove St (in front of the College Hill Courts Main Office)
🕐 Shuttle Pickup Time (to Library): Shuttle leaves at 1:00 pm. Please arrive by 12:50 pm.
📖 Library Time: 1.5 hours to explore, read, and enjoy
🕒 Shuttle Pickup Time (back to Westside): Shuttle leaves at 3:00 pm. Please be ready by 2:50 pm.

Here’s why you should come:

Families with children: Step into the colorful Children’s Department, where kids can dive into books, activities, and story spaces designed to spark imagination.
Teens: Hang out in creative spaces, explore graphic novels and music, or check out the Makerspace with 3D printers, vinyl cutters, and other hands-on tools.
Adults: Use free computers, get help with technology, browse job and career resources, or enjoy some quiet reading time.
Seniors: Large-print books, local history archives, relaxing spaces, and helpful staff make the library an easy and welcoming place to spend an afternoon.
