The Mobile American Job Center is coming to help job seekers take the next step in their careers. Staff will be available to assist with job searches, resume writing, and interview skills, as well as registering individuals for Jobs4TN, where there are currently over 90,000 job opportunities across the state. Visitors can also ask about educational programs designed to build new skills and open doors to better career paths. Step aboard the Mobile Job Center coach to explore free resources, one-on-one support, and personalized guidance. For even more job listings and training tools, register ahead of time on Jobs4TN.gov.

Poppy, the Chattanooga Public Library’s mobile library van, will be visiting College Hill Courts on Friday, September 25 from 2–5 PM by the flagpole. Residents will be able to browse and borrow books, sign up for a free library card and discover programs and services available through CPL. Come out, check out a book, and take the first step into a new story!

These meetings are a chance for residents, partners, and neighbors to learn what’s happening across our programs and to stay connected to the work CHA is doing in Chattanooga. Everyone is welcome, and we encourage you to join us and be part of the conversation.
Tech Goes Home is hosting a weeklong class at College Hill Courts to help residents build confidence with everyday technology. Over the course of the program, participants will learn essential computer and internet skills, gaining tools that make it easier to stay connected, access resources, and support personal and professional goals. Participants who attend and successfully complete the full course will receive a free Chromebook to continue practicing their new skills at home. Space is limited. Dress for Success will be onsite at College Hill Courts offering private one-on-one consultations. Clients will have the opportunity to meet with a stylist, explore professional wardrobe options, and receive personalized support to help prepare for upcoming interviews, and career opportunities.
