The Chattanooga Housing Authority Board of Commissioners meets each month to discuss current projects, plans, and decisions shaping affordable housing in Chattanooga. These meetings are a chance for residents, partners, and neighbors to learn what’s happening across our programs and to stay connected to the work CHA is doing in Chattanooga. Everyone is welcome, and we encourage you to join us and be part of the conversation.
Join us this week for a special Healthy Cooking event at the College Hill Courts resident meeting. Building on the excitement from our recent Health Fair, this session will focus on simple, affordable ways to prepare healthy meals at home. Residents will enjoy a live cooking demonstration, learn new recipes, and take home tips on how small changes in the kitchen can lead to big benefits for your health.
This special event will provide an opportunity for our partners to get a look inside the renovation of the James A. Henry Hub. This meeting will include a presentation from Reginald Ruff, the architect leading the renovation of one of the most exciting projects underway in the Westside. Following the discussion, participants will take a guided tour of the nearly completed building.
