According to their Director of Operations, Dr. Robin Sturnes, “Dress for Success Chattanooga empowers women to achieve economic independence through workforce development, confidence-building support, and professional attire.”
Dress for Success Chattanooga has been serving the Chattanooga area since December 2019, and have now brought their skills and services to One Westside at College Hill Courts. Not only do they dress our residents for success by offering professional attire, but they also provide other services such as interview coaching, resume support, and provide a capsule wardrobe as well to prepare women for their new roles. In addition, the Professional Women’s Group (PWG) provides networking, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to help residents grow in their careers and build long-term financial stability.
Dress for Success Chattanooga focuses first on building skills and confidence. Through career coaching, job readiness workshops, financial literacy education, digital skills training, and mentorship, they prepare women to secure not just a livable wage, but a thriving wage.
How does it work? Their Westside Boutique is where preparation meets opportunity. After completing workforce development programming, women receive personalized styling appointments and professional attire tailored to their career goals. Clothing is not the beginning of the journey; it is the final reinforcement of confidence before stepping into interviews and employment.
